Moxie Mouse and the Wood Chopping Machine

A 5,000 word chapter book, first in series, with themes of community, teamwork, and using STEM to solve problems

When Moxie, a determined and resourceful young mouse, loses the button on her favorite sweater, she wants to replace it with a sparkly one from Mrs. Hedgehog's stall at the market. When Moxie discovers her acorn bank is empty, she must find a way to earn more acorns. With the help of her hummingbird pal, Nectar, Moxie decides to sell firewood, but it turns out the chopping wood is harder than she imagined. 

Jade Davis and the Magic Bracelet

A 45,000-word middle grade novel for readers who enjoy adventure, nature, and a magical surprise.

When Jade inherits a bracelet for her eleventh birthday, she discovers a lost familial magic that turns her into animals and learns the family's legend is real. Jade wants to play in her animal forms, but she must stop her evil grandfather who is devastating her community's ecosystem in the name of saving the planet. With the help of her ancestors and magic, Jade reclaims the element stones needed become fulfill the Protego Legend. Will she have enough power to stop her evil grandfather and restore balance of nature?

A Story Starts in the Heart

A 100-word picture book for children ages 4-8 with layers of social emotional learning and disability awareness.

A STORY STARTS IN THE HEART is a story’s bumpy journey through a cracked voice, meandering ideas, and dancing hands into the heart to someone waiting, watching, and listening until the very end. Told from the story’s perspective, the sparse text illustrates common challenges for people with communication disabilities while the backmatter provides tips that anyone can use to be a better communicator.

Rosie Rights the Rainbow

A 460-word picture book for children ages 3-7, is a heartfelt story about envy, guilt, the love of nature, and the ups and downs of sisterhood.

Jealous of her sister Frankie’s feather collection, Rosie goes to great lengths to collect her own rainbow of feathers. When Rosie’s collection is one posh purple feather short of surpassing Frankie’s, she does something she knows is wrong, and the guilt monster comes lurking.

Dragon Tails

In a humorous 480—word picture book for children ages 3-7, a picky eater conquers his fear of dragon tails AKA asparagus. 

Sir Zeke, a boy with a big imagination, spends his days fighting dragons, but the brave knight is terrified of vegetables. When Zeke discovers that the asparagus on his dinner table are dragon tails, he calls upon his knightly courage to slash, pierce, flatten, and… eat them.

Alone Together:

An Unusual Friendship

A 325-word picture book for children ages 3-7 full of humor and heart, it's a story of longing, social blunders, and finding joy in unlikely friendship under the sea.

When loneliness strikes, Alma sets out to make a friend. The shy octopus struggles through humorous social mishaps amid the coral reef until, feeling embarrassed by her failures, she sinks deeper into her den only to find an unlikely companion awaits.
