Laura Elizabeth Baukol
Laura lives outside of Boulder, Colorado with her two daughters, husband, and snuggly cat. When she isn't writing children's books, she's working as a speech pathologist in the local schools.
Laura maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Beginning in 2022, she's a participant in Julie Hedlund’s 12x12 Picture Book Challenge.
Hobbies
When I am not working as a speech pathologist or writing, you can find me strolling neighborhood trails, volunteering at my kids' school, doodling, reading everything, practicing yoga, cooking (sometimes delicious meals), arranging flowers, and playing in the backyard with my family.
